I was going to suggest this as well. I wanted to 'go the other way' in my 300B Bottlehead kit amps, get a little more resolution/crispness over the stock 12AT7s (which were generic pulls, I think RCA).I got what I wanted with NOS Siemens & Halske 12AT7s (which are drivers in this amp, the only other tube besides the 300B). I was pretty amazed at the change with these tubes.
I have read that Mullards are more 'golden' or something, possibly they would be another good thing to try in your amp, if they made the particular tubes in there.
