You could take opts from ATM1 but why? I gather you never even heard this amp and go after second hand opinions. With this approach you're into expensive quest and lots of frustrations. Look how many amps are around designed by people who lost their teeth on amp design and how many of them are memorable ? handfull ? and yet you want take an axe and "improve" on respectable amp without having a clue how that damn thing work and what is responsible for supposed "lush and warm sound". There is an PP-2 amp design by late Allen Wright (may he rest in peace) using Lundahl transformers which is a quintessece of modern tube design (so I was told). Best, W
