I'm sure it is and Crimson has some things in common sonically with Naim in particular, mainly clarity, drive, and 'liveliness.' To my ears, which spent several years with an all Linn system and later with a Naim CDS 2 CDP, while the connection is there, Crimson seems to combine the virtues of both. They are not the only virtues, to be sure. Audio Note, to bring that piece of my experience to bear, has different ones. And the Harbeth folk would say that none of these marques have the most important ones. I lived with them for a while and so know what they are. How can audio virtues be so different and so incompatible? The world is full of a variety of things.
