DIY with a DACT selector switch ?

With an old preamp, you risk problems with worn, dirty selector switches. How about DIY, with a DACT audiophile selector switch, and your choice of RCA jacks and wiring, in an aluminum project box ? That's the way I would go. The DACT switches are not cheap, but that's the price you pay for a selector that will not compromise the sound, or at the most have the least impact.
