Thanks for the post Marc. But I am definitely looking for Symphonic Line gear. I am not surprised there were not more responses. If Symphonic Line advertised and marketed their products (prostituted themselves) they would have a much larger prescence in the USA. They are well known and highly regarded by those that have heard them (mostly in Europe). I will be buying a used SL tubed preamp (I can't bring myself to totally abandon tubes) but just wonder if the bass will suffer
slightly. The SS pre has a 1 ohm output while the tubed model's output is 100 ohms. I'll be able to compare it directly with my friends SS pre when the tubed model arrives. I just wanted others experience and opinions on this comparison (no dice).
