RE: Warning re Classé CA-200 fuse replacement

Another inmate had a similar blown CA-200 rail fuse problem recently. I highly recommend that you telephone Classé customer service for advice before you damage your amp or cause performance problems, especially since the amp is still going into protection mode inspite of the fuse replacement. Classé has a specific service procedure for replacing the internal fuses in the CA-200 and verifying proper operation before reconnecting the inputs and outputs and putting the amp back into service. This procedure involves about 9 different steps that include among them, disconnecting wire jumpers on the heatsink boards to allow the power supply caps to discharge and prevent damage to the mosfet drivers. You don't just pop in replacement fuses and power up the amp as you have done.
