Or else he is driving both systems in parallel and maybe that is not a good thing, increased loading etc. It is easy to make a little A-->B RCA switcher. All you need is 6 RCA jacks and a 4PDT switch. .......

In Hutch's lab at the factory we have some Maggie 1.6's in there with a Genesis sub. Running them off an older pair of Manley 440's right now. Also works nicely with our 250's. No less power than that .......

Well those tubes run 275mV over 10 ohms which is 27.5mA (milliamps) so if they are running 15ma to 20ma high then you would be measuring 425 to 475 millivolts on your meter which I bet you are not. 15 .......

You can temporarily sub in any output tube that works and biases up properly to keep ya going. When your complete sets arrive, stick with the batch sets. Even though there is adjustable bias for each .......

The MAHI's are really based on The Stingray. The MAHI's are the monoblock version of the Stingray. The MAHI's have switchable feedback and switchable UL - Triode modes... Those EL84's really boogie in .......

For the record, yes, we do ship Stingrays stock with the Ei EL84/6BQ5 and the Ei ECC81/12AT7. Seems to be what most folks prefer off the bat, since certain reviewers declared them as better sounding. .......

In my experience, I like ceramic sockets best as sometimes if an output tube does A Very Bad Thing, a big blowout can cause certain plastic type insulators to turn into carbon, which is really not any .......
