You get one of these Ozzie, but get it off of Ebay Brother, save some money! This will hook up to your sound cards output, and then go into the Fostex Monitors. Actually, I started off with the Fostex .......

It seems the Fostex PM05 MKII has been replaced with a newer model. The new Model is called the Fosex PMO.5N It looks basically the same, except they have radiused the edges of the baffles by the twee .......

Yes it does. I was unaware it would take both TRS and Male XLR. I just use a Male XLR connector on the Fostex. .......

LOL, I agree, it really is pretty stupid. But make no mistake, Fostex is very much an audiophile speaker company. Their full range drivers and some of their horns are cherished drivers in the audiophi .......

That much of a delay would effect not only phase, but frequency response as well. Oh, and btw, single drivers are NOT all "phase coherent" either. Sorry to ruin the party, but been there, done that. I .......

Hello Jonbee, I agree on the 901, but I didnt care for the IL 60 at all, see my review here. I have heard the 901 produce impressive sound in a large room with a true wall behind them. I had a friend .......

Well, the Bose 901's are in house, and FAR from optimally set up either. This is what I hear so far. The upper range of Bob Seeger's voice is nicely reproduced, but the lower range has a strange color .......

My Yamaha top of the line receiver has RCA Pre outs for all channels, and the subwoofers. All you need is a male RCA (to go into the receivers pre outs) to Male XLR cable that plugs into the Fostex PM .......
