I have been using DIY fluid for a quiet some time. Everything you have looks okay. I started out using Lysol Direct after 1st gallon of DIY fluid I stop using it and replaced it with dish washer soap/ .......

When it came to finding a cleaning solution I found that the ones on offer were sub standard so I now use a DIY formula which is far superior. As you can see from the picture there can be a lot of .......

I've used RRL, DIY, DiscDoctor, Touramat and like them all. But the best cleaning initially I have found is DIY solution with a youth toothbrush. I have liked the Colgate ones. They are gentle enough .......

I would not use it, because water bed conditioners also have some sort of plasticser in it, which may or may not help/hurt your records. The commercial solution I but is 20% alcohol, and it seems to .......

You didn't do anything wrong at all. This is caused by some crystals from the dried solution & some gunk lifted from the grooves. It will go away with time, but a vaccum machine is really the best way .......

Roger I wasn't aware 99% alcohol was commonly available ? The simple 91% basic Lab grade Isopropyl is fine, and all you'd need, and you can buy that in the Drugstore as well, at least here in the S .......

I would avoid "Kits" entirely just assemble a cleaning arsenal using the best and most effective tools and solvents. I prefer the DIY RCM approach, the best and least expensive, but highly effective .......

I think the idea is that the waterblast off the cleaning solution off the record. The water doesn't "hurt" the surface or rub with friction like a pad on a vac system might do. I'm not saying it's any .......

The best way is to analyze it from a physics aspect. You need to remove as much junk from the grooves without destroying the grooves (LP). This will entail a good cleaning solution, a good applicator .......

The solution should do most of the work lifting the grunge out of the groove. I usually use very light pressure with an AQ brush during wet cleaning and go 2-3 revolutions, then vac. I sometimes repea .......

I'm alot older than Abraxas :-) I don't remember those cloths but then again, I dodn't remember ever hearing of a vacuum record cleaning machine until 3 years ago. I grew up on vinyl through the 70's .......

The solution does the cleaning, the brush merely gets the fluid down there. You should be able to dislodge the particles just by either vacuuming the record after using a Hunt brush, the solution is .......

I've used extra strength version of my diy cleaning fluid on fingerprints with excellent results but only recommend if one has an RCM. 50% distilled water 50% >90% pure isopro alc 4-5 drops kodak phot .......
