is the pioneer, i have one. it sounds good but not as good as the review in BAS of many years ago. the big plus is the detachable headshell. swapping out carts is a snap! the rubber parts fail in LA b .......

i also recommended the pioneer PLL1000a for the same reasons mention. i dont thing pioneer bought phase, i think phase sourced the tt from pioneer and phase rebadged it. regardless its just about wha .......

Do you use an integrated amplifier without separate phono preamplifier? Then it can be that the louder you play the less the power supply will be able to feed the preamp part of the integrated amplifi .......

my understanding is that the arm won't be on the suspended part. if so, with only the cartridge VTF pressing on the record surface, i don't believe there will be an appreciable deflection of the suspe .......

the PLL1000 was marketed in this country as the phase linear 8000. i have the pio and as much as i like some of its attributes, it doesnt let the sound of the cartridge come through as well as my tech .......

i have the pioneer equivalent and had the same rubbing problem. the rubber gets eaten up by the air we have in LA. its possible (maybe) to get the rubber parts from pioneer usa in compton california ( .......

PLL1000a and pio may have parts. the cuing is controlled by a very small belt that is likely broken. remove the headshell. anchor the arm trolley with its button on the rigth side of the arm trolley .......
