To most of us, these days, the term "Lenco" is synonymous with only their idler-drive models. They did make belt-drive turntables back in the day, but there is very little to no interest in those mode .......

The dust cover on my Lenco L75 (original) does not have any markings and it's sort of a soft smoky color, not clear. The original Lenco tonearm is one of the most frustrating devices I've ever encount .......

Thanks for the followups. So it's got an AC shaded pole induction motor. I thought the vertical idler wheel is pretty unique and i haven't seen a Lenco with a shot main bearing so far. A point to look .......

I have that arm on an Empire table. The pivot/spindle distance is 215 mm if I remember correctly. It is definitely longer than 211 mm. BTW, this means it "could" be used in the tonearm hole in the Len .......

The Lenco is rigidly bolted to the plinth using the original threaded mounting holes. Yes a 12" could avoid cutting the Lenco, I just checked with an SME 3012 (I am building a plinth for one and a Gar .......

I didn't know Lenco was that expensive in the US, here in Holland they still pop up for 50 euro or less. You could look out for certain Duals that ain't bad IMHO: 1019,1219,1229 idlers 700 series DD 1 .......

Works fine on my Lenco L-75. I am skeptical the motor controller will be a step forward for the Lenco. At 25 watts it does not have enough output to properly drive an idler motor IMO. It won't hurt .......
