I'm in the process of putting a mono system together around a single SL12 that I've got (somewhere) in the spare gear closet. Does anyone have any information as to a suitable or, better, the original .......

These are a well made good quality widerange speaker. But the magnet size is quite small- the RCA SL12 is a better choice. It should sound pretty good though. Bill .......

Thanks Freddi! That was a really great post. I actually have one of those RCA Cinema Products systems in the top floor of the Mill. Pair of the SP20 6v6 amps and RCA SL12 fullrangers. Just love it. No .......

I'd have to say that I have never heard any single driver, be it a fullranger or coax, that is as good as the RCA LC1 series drivers. Actually, I'll take that back, the much earlier RCA Olsen designed .......

If you scroll down this page, to the thread about the RCA SL12, you will have one answer. But that is not really a driver for open baffle. There were a couple of Philips 12" fullrangers that were good .......

Hi Fred! Been thinking…I know that’s dangerous. It seems to me there are some fundamentals of speakers. Some of these fundamentals don’t add up. The old fashioned no suspension speaker with a nice tig .......
