I had the Marantz CDR 630 for fifteen months and used either MAxell, Sony or TDK with excellent results. Never had a single disc that I could not finalise. The finalised CD-Rs play in most CD players, .......

You could always look for an original Rega Planet. They are not the last word in detail, but they are very musical with a nice deep soundstage. The Marantz CD17 and 6000ose are both quite good and go .......

I have never heard of the Audio Analogue, but when I got my Marantz SA-1 for sacd, I had a CEC TL0 Mk. II Improved. I compared the two as cd transports and sold the TL0. Enough said? .......
