That has been heavily criticized many times here. I personally see no advantage - if you have a good "cold weld" going, a blob of solder is not going to get between the conductors and the crimp materi .......

Here is the Madisound spec page for the Fostex driver that I believe Eric has in that model. Tekton's 81en is a bass reflex design so you will get more bass than this frequency response curve shows. .......

Genungo is correct, the signal was full-range stereo, and all speakers were full-range, tailored for their specific roles. We had them wired in series because our amp would rather see a 16 ohm load in .......

I'd stay away from an OB, neither the driver nor the alignment being high sensitivity. Your needs are no different than those of an afficionado running 5 watts SET, and the cure is the same: horn load .......

Yep, the SAS stylus has got to be one of the better stylus profiles to be found on just about any cartridge. If it makes your Shure V15V perform anywhere close the the Jico MM-1, which uses the same S .......
