Has anyone changed from the 12.5 arm wand to the 12" 3D arm wand on a TNT table? If so is the 3D arm a drop in or does bearing spike, VTA assembly, dual pivot, arm holder .. etc need to be replaced .......

All, I loaded my stand with sand last night. It took about 50 lbs. The result with the stand and now filled with sand is less (actually no surface noise) now, better imaging, more depth. Virtually can .......

It is the 3mh coil which has been cut out. Its the one on the bottom left of the picture with the Green circle. By cutting this out in the external box, it will make the Tweeter/Midrange slope to be 6 .......

No its not OK for normal operation. It looks like someone set this Stage up for biamp via electronic crossover. This Apogee Stage could not perform anywhere near correct from a single amp or biwired. .......

What is interesting, I took this cartridge over to a AT dealer. We looked at in under the microscope, he said, " this does not look like AT workmanship". Basically the stylus that was peviously there .......

It's a good question, I was working with the idea that hollow (using the air) was better, (being trapped inside the rigid fibergalss). ie the idea behind the ASC tubetrap. These are hollow. Maybe Etha .......
