I am doubtful a bypass cap will make any difference. You can determine phasing by tracing the wires from left to right. The current should always be traveling in the same direction. .......

I did bypass the fuse and attenuator block shortly after obtaining the speakers. The improvement was very marginal - only worth doing because it is so simple and fast. Replacing the wires is a waste o .......

I have a relatively new pair of Magnepan .7 speakers with approximately 20 hours use. I know they require at least 50 hours of breakin time, however, I find the treble response now to be quite rolled .......

I modded my Dac 1 with by replacing the 5532s with the NS LMEs (you also need to change the voltage regulators)and the improvement is vast and immediately discernible. Sound is warmer with better dept .......

For the summer months I use a pair of Emotiva XPR-2 amps for my biamped Apogee Diva ribbons. During the cooler months I have a pair of reconditioned Krell KSA-250s. The Krell does have a little better .......

I own two of these amps in a biamp configuration and still think it is one of the finest amps available. I recapped both, including power supply (PS)capacitors, which is something Krell does not usual .......

You should be careful about implementing a zobel network as some amplifiers already have one as part of the design. The Emotiva XPA-2 is an example. .......

Indeed, the noise is a result of using the omnidirectional antenna. Perhaps when I get around to it I'll mount a proper directional antenna in my attic. For the most low volume I listen at in my bedro .......
