Well, I eventually managed and overhauled this crossover by myself. I replaced the Caps and resistors with some better ones, like Mundorf, Musicaps, and Duelund, changed wires to Belden and connect .......

These speakers were highly regarded at the time. But I agree the crossovers look quite amateurish. .......

They are all Caddock but PM 930/821. They can do 20-30w indeed with a heatsink but do you think this is required for mids or tweeters? (although there was one resistor which is in parallel for the woo .......

Thanks travisty, I was told the same thing by pioneer. Amazing how little info there is on the web about this amazing equipment. My tech has replaced the capacitor but I have yet to hear the result. W .......

it's an electrolytic capacitor inserted into some kind of shield. Pioneer say they no longer have those. I will have to use something else and hope it won't affect the sound. Thanks. .......

Looking for owners or anybody with knowledge of this Head amp. One of its capacitors blew and pioneer no longer has a replacement. It seems quite special with unique isolation method. Here is a pic .......
