Might be right on the pins. One of them is very oxidized and another moderately. Tried Deoxit and it did nothing. Maybe some fine sandpaper? Also, the cantilever is considerably off-center. I know .......

I will be loading mine close to the 10 amp limit so I expect it will get hot. I tested it with a 1500 watt heater (it drew 7 amps on the meter) and it did get warm. I removed the old fan and just boug .......

Well, there is a happy ending. The amp was eventually sent to RHB Sound who is the authorized Allnic repair shop. It turned out the only thin wrong with it wss blown 300b tubes and the circuit boards .......

Pretty amazing huh. I never even heard from UPS directly on the damage claim. I called the UPS Store and they told me that UPS denied the claim with "no visible external damage"and sent it back to New .......

The shipper did "value" it for what I paid so that part is not a problem. I am just amazed that UPS claimed no box damage with a hole about 6" wide. .......

Moving the TT to another room is not an option due to distance. Steve Dobbins uses Stillpoints on his tables now but I have a hard time swallowing $2500 for feet. I will probably go the DIY sandbox or .......

No, I don't expect the TSM's to produce much below 45hz. My problem is there is nothing below 60hz and when you look at the content of most bass guitar driven music that is a big chunk of the bass sp .......

I have done all the electrical testing and there is nothing wrong with the TSM's or my electronics. It has to be the room and the dropped ceiling seems to be the chief culprit. I am going to move the .......

I agree that the nearfield readings are spot on with the specs. The far-field measurements were done at 8 feet with the long wall placement and 9.5 feet for the short wall placement. As for the big vs .......

Thanks for the comments. The price of the TA-1 put it somewhat close ($400) to that of a Reed 2A (available at less than list price). Opinions on which of these would work best with an Ortofon A90 on .......

I am a bit confused by your post. My tonearm is fixed directly to the maple base so I don't see where it's decoupled unless it's somehow from the interface between the maple and the metal tonearm base .......

I have decided to wait until Rythmik gets the cheaper F12 back in stock and get pair of them. This seems the best way to integrate them with the monitors, perhaps sitting them right next to the TSM's .......

My room is very well acoustically treated. With my former Soundlabs I got solid bass down to 30hz. The issue is the TSM's just don't produce much below 50hz, after all it's a sealed box with 6" woofer .......

Cary is outrageously expensive for doing the mods associated with their F1 version. I have no idea what the cost of an F1 one new is but Cary quoted me $320 to change the coupling caps to Jensens and .......
