Between the two table you have mentioned, I would go with the P3 mainly for the arm. The RB202 is a terrific arm that you can use moving forward if you want to do upgrades to your table. .......

Magnetic Platter using magnets instead of actual bearings. It appears to reduce rumble. Also, wow and flutter is measured at around .04 for this product. Which is similar to friction bearing systems. .......

I'm running an VPI inverted bearing design on a custom table I made. The tolerances are tight, rumble is low and wow and flutter is .03. As for wear, I guess I'll find out. .......

My memory tells me that, in the past, Grado came out with a lower output cartridge to combat the repeat reported hum issue when matched with VPI tables. They lowered the output voltage by a good degre .......

I have a light weight one that was made by TTW before they closed their doors. I bought it second hand. It does wonders to improve tracking on less than flat albums, and that can't hurt the sound any .......

I don't have a 400 ohm resistor but I do have 500 ohms. When I place the 500 ohm in there is less shimmer with cymbals and over all air. 800 ohms is better but, at this time I keep going back to 47k. .......

If you must sell them, I would take the extra money and re-invest it in your system where you feel you would gain the most improvement. Also, extra cartridges don't take up much space and can be a lot .......

The frequency chart does not indicate what db scale they are using. So, the Linn forum is recommending $8000 in upgrades. That's is not upgrades but rather a new table and, imo, not money spent wisely .......

I can't recommend the best cartridge but i can tell you the Benz Micro Glider and Woodies are nice. I've also found a way to make a Denon 103 come very close to a Benz for a very little price. Run the .......

The 3009 arms are relatively affordable and usually at the same price as the other two arms mentioned. Most responses here have so far not been overwhelmingly in favor of the 3009 but I'll take yours .......

If you do change your amp consider one with plenty of power, as the Celesions respond best to high current amps. Outside of this, I would go for a sub to fill the bottom octave in. That's a nice syste .......

A shure sm57 is just not going to cut it for 2 point high quality recordings. Because of its far from flat response and limited dynamic range it makes for a great mic for live vocals, snares and guita .......

I'm playing back the wav file I recorded at 24/96. Amazingly the file looks great. There is no clipping, with good peaks and valleys. Since I recorded using 96k my FET meter only goes to 47k. However, .......

My 6 eyed does sound harder, e.g. a bit more edge, not thin. None the less, when I want to hear my best recording of TO, it is the first 360 pressing that I pull. This, IMO, is a fantastic recording, .......

So, I made a few adjustment, which improved imaging and over all tonal balance. I moved my listening chair closer by about a foot and changed the connection from the amps to 4 ohms from the 8 ohm taps .......

I bought the vinyl which was recorded hot and has sibilance issues. Wow, is it one loud album. Maybe strong on compression but I haven't looked a the peak levels digitally. I'd say it is interesting b .......

I use an Origin Live 8n my TD850. Works like a xharm. It was highly recommended by the Analog Shop and is an improvement over the stock motor and power supply. .......
