I remember reading literature from Analysis Plus (Cable MFR) that when your system doesn't sound right it may be the result of something they call "Current Bunching". The remedy is to run all intercon .......

Yes it is, bought from ebay. The model # is actually Pioneer DVD V-7400. As a bonus the remote from my old Pioneer DVD player works with the V-7400, the remote can probably be found at Goodwill, they .......

That's sort of like saying there should be no difference in preamps, they all have caps, resistors and circuit boards or all 12AX7 tubes sound basically same, they're all made of metal and glass. ::: .......

No doubt there are different tolerance levels required for these two tables. The TP-16 was a bit of a horror story, between the heashell and the cartridge mounting hardware (some of which was missing) .......

The nice thing about the noodles is you can slice them lengthwise spread the foam open and they will actually clamp on equipment that is not too thick. .......

At certain times of the year you can buy kids swimming noodles made from closed cell foam cheaply. I cut it to fit and it protects equipment better than other materials. .......

Some drivers dont just fall out of the cabinet when you try to remove them. I had a blown driver in a speaker and removed it but it didn't come out cleanly, a few chucks of MDF (Baffle) came along for .......

I had the ASL 1001 about 5 years ago and probably sounds a little different than the 1003 since it uses KT-88's instead of EL-34's in the 1001. I'm now using the latest mini monos with the new transfo .......

Mike, if you have the TP16 arm it's 16.5 grams, definately on the heavier side, if your arm has the removable arm wand it should be 7.5 grams. I'm using an old Denon DL-110 beater on mine (TP 16) righ .......

A few things to look for on the 160, obviously check the bearing spindle for wear, if it's an early version it won't have a motor pulley guard, run it with the belt off to make sure the motor shaft is .......

The Jelco SA-250ST arm mounting distance is 210mm which should work for you. I installed one on my ROK B12-GH, I had to enlarge the mounting hole a bit for the arm to fit, sounds real good and doesn't .......

If it's anything like their CD players it will take around 200 hours to fully break in. A Cardas Hex 5c power cord did the trick for my 740c CD player, try one on your amp if you can. Good luck with y .......

The speed on the L-34 is adjustable. The screw just to the left of the control knob can be adjusted by moving it along the slot it is located in. The L-34 does not use the Papst motor, the L-34H does .......

The Forte's are listed as 99 db efficient I believe but actually measured at 101 db by an electronics MFR. I know of. Regardless, they are efficient enough to use with most amps, they can sound excell .......

The Klipsch Forte's are absolutely killer once they are set up and dialed in. The Cornwalls are also excellent but are rather large compared to the Forte's, if you have the room they are great. As man .......

I also have a ROK tonearm which I have not tried yet. It is a heavy arm and requires a low compliance cartridge, the Denon 103 fits that bill and it is relatively cheap, can be had off EBAY new for ar .......

I finished my first ROK project. Well, not really finished yet but it is up and running. It's an L-34 with a 6 layer Birch ply plinth and an older Denon arm. I still need to pretty up the plinth .......

I think replacing the grommets on the ROK's should be a given along with cleaning and relubing. To the naked eye the grommets on my L-34 look fine, when looking at them with a magnafying glass you can .......

Can't answer all your questions but a good site to visit with some good info is Roktips. Your Idler wheel may have some flat spots or the rubber has hardened, if so you will want to have your wheel re .......

Always be aware of where your hands are in relation to the cartridge while you are setting up the table, one bad move and you can take out the cantilever on the cartridge. Don't wear loose shirts with .......
