Yes the duet has rca analog left and right, and rca digital out. The digital outs on both the logitech Duet and Logitech Transporter go to a dedicated dac. To Clarify the Logitech Duet and the Transpo .......

Started by swapping the driver tubes from the other amp and it started working, but so was the other amp. Swapped them back again as before and everything working as normal? Maybe a contaminated conne .......

Did anyone notice, that's an awful lot of Black Gate N caps $$$$ Maybe he was possibly trying to make a larger value Super-E config using multiple smaller values. But is that even possible to achieve? .......

I just last night bypassed the 4700uf 6SN7 heater reservoir caps in the linestage of my P4 monos; After the diode bridge (mundorf mlytics) with some Blackgate N types at 220uf. Holy SH*** the increase .......

I'm a yacht refinisher - You'll have problems getting all of that stain out of your rails now but that's not such a big deal it might look interesting in the end. Hopefully you wont have to sand too m .......

Yeah, Audio GD their products just reek of quality, just lift the cover on anything and you'll find a build more akin to a swiss watch, I don't think I have ever seen such quality under the hood in .......

The problem was with my soldering, had damaged the trace at the through hole. Finally tracked it down to the 4700uf positive side, I soldered a small jumper across to F3, the cap was effectively out o .......

It's apparently not the 4700uf Cap causing the low voltage to the heaters, I swapped it out for another 4700uf I had in my stash and still have the same problem. Here are the currents through each res .......

The resistors are all good, brand new mills MRA's tested! That only leaves the 4700uf cap, I'll drop in another lytic in a few days just to see if the voltage returns to normal, if so I'll order "anot .......

CB, I Followed your advice and put the KBU4's back in there. As well as all the 1R resistors on the (low voltage/problem) amp. The good amp is up to 12.57v after the last resistor so I've gained 0.5v. .......

I have just fitted a schottky bridge, tested the fwd voltage and am coming out now at 19v in the sockets (tubes out, socket to socket pin 8 to 8) which is too high for my 6SN7 heaters (parallel 6SN .......

My monoblocks have 2x6SN7's 2x5687 and 2x 300B's a side. Playing around with the 6SN7's I'm finding my RCA's have the best 3 dimensional image but are a bit shy on top and bottom but are superb in the .......

I had one of my monoblocks up on the bench (parallel 300b set)changed out all the resistors. When I put it back together I reversed the filament leads on one side by accident. Bear this in mind - .......

Mart, Don't laugh too hard, I have a Topping TP60 in my kitchen powering and old pair of B&W601's and it sounds really quite amazing. And actually sounded reasonable with my 63's compared to my Audio .......

Its a great tweak, but overheating can sometime be a problem. I solve this simply by throwing a gallon bucket of air over the cd player every twenty minutes or so. .......

Depends how deeps the scratch is? If its shallow you can sometimes buff it out or use some scratch-x type remover, in effect what you are doing is removing the area around the scratch down to the leve .......

In this case - The amp was built for 120v!!?? and I have too high a plate current, the variac brings it down to the spec/correct voltage. (when my mm has good batteries!) .......

I have been turning my variac to 109v and listening to my pp amp these last couple of weeks. It turns out that my multimeter battery was low and the real voltage was 88v! Can this cause any probs anyw .......

Thanks Kent, It turns out the batteries in my MM were low and were giving me this false reading. Bloody cheap GE MM, I think this is kind of dangerous there should be a cut off point for this thing to .......

The ramp down is a standard speed computer controlled 1/2 a degree per minute and the same back up again at the end. The "soaking" lasts 24 hours at 316f below zero. .......

I skipped the soldering completely with the superior termination of a "gas tight crimp." Using Canare RCAP-C4F 75ohm plugs. Sounds excellent, much better than my Ecosse Maestro MA2 (now sold) Informat .......

The 6550 is on the mantlepiece and is decorative only now. Manual is quite basic (no mention of the circuit design) It mentions the fuse at 117v 60hz(6A) there's really not much else relevant. Voltage .......

No it's not connected to pin #3. It's kind of difficult to follow it as it becomes bundled with the other wires, I think it's heading off to the transformer. .......

What wattage 1 meg resistor should I buy? The one here has about thirteen percent drift, and so does the other one on the other side, it's going across the 12ax7 tube. I got these 1/2 watt ones see .......
