I had the TX102 mk2 and sold it few week ago. It was remplaced by a 417A weco and then by an 26. For attenuation, I now use a stepped resistive attenuator. I may keep the tx102 but I needed some gain .......

Hi For more improvement, plug the django as an autoformer. (only if you didn`t need the 6Db boost) You will gain an extra "air" and better separation. Image seem to improve too. PS, I use the tx102 MK .......

Yeah. I do some measurement and I find that I need 2.2Kv p-p to fully drive my panel... at 20Khz, this represent 200Watts of capacitive load!!! I think that I will build a quality pushpull amplifier t .......

for low plate resistance can a triode connected penthode, espicialy small power pentodes, such as EL90/6AQ5, EL84/6BQ5, EL86/6CW5. can works even better? the EL86 (mu=8) has low enough plate resistanc .......
