Unless you go for a two part epoxy like the West System, Urethane paint isn't worth the difference. A quart of Sherwin Williams Everlast at Lowes is about $22 a quart and really long lasting. You may .......

I like the leg vise. I don't do anything bigger than a drawer side that needs clamping so I get by with the big quick release front vise and those Veritas Wonder Dogs. Excellent work! .......

Found out a 2x4x8 weighs about 11 lbs., so maybe 5 lbs for 2x3x5 times 12= 60 lbs. The base will be SYP, a good bit heavier and using 3-2x8x8's so about 50 lbs. more. My big Jorgensen vise another 20 .......

Not that I'm an MCM snob. 20 years ago it was where one bought the Motorola Piezo Horn and a credible 15" mid-woofer. The Piezo sounded no more like an AM radio than many of the Fostex based systems g .......

My "subwoofer", behind which you can just make out the tiny Class T-amp driving the little wall mount TV speakers, can't be controlled remotely, I'm afraid. It's necessary to get quite close to adjust .......
