I redid a pair of IIc and removal of the wires was easy, paint with acetone let sit a bit, not long it evaps very quickly, and then lift up the wire. Since the acetone will wick to most of the panel, .......

I can't see CJ being the less expensive option vs. an independent. But you will get the unit back as it should be. Not that MT wouldn't do a complete refresh but some places might just change the fail .......

and they (CJ as McCormack of VA) does (did) similar upgrades. OK if you have to have sMc upgrades then it has to go to CA. But to get a unit fixed, there is a way to spend half as much on shipping. : .......

Woofer wires might need to be addressed. Easy enough to do but at Magnepan they will come back like new and cost a grand or so. This would almost always include two new ribbon tweeters which are a c-n .......

The 64 has a 210 gram weight and it is similar to the 64s. I'm guessing that the two weights would be the 170 lightweight one in the brochure and and the 210 gram from the 64. .......

It appears to have the same arm as the PS-X6 but without the couch switches so it may be more reliable. The internals will be a bit different but the PS-X7 and X6 (carbon fiber arm on the 7 otherwise .......
