While including the copper diffusers and the toriodal transformers plus an impedence mod, they appear to still have the stators that just predate the current stators. In part that is why I am a bit co .......

I am considering moving from my innersound Eros MK111 speakers to SoundeLabs M-1 or M-2 (probably the 2s'). they are relatively new vintage (about 2 years old with the copper diffuser and the toroidal .......

Mike, You and I have run the innersound route through all of the eros series as I recall. Interested in your comments regarding the SoundLab A-1 speakers. I suspect that the A-1 speakers on their own .......

Is the best way to check for DC on the outputs of a SS preamp to check with a multimeter at the interconnect at the amp end? If that is the proper method I would guess that for a single ended connecto .......

Hey Mark, There may be a tip for us in this thread although the woofer cabinet in our case also makes up the transmission line. However I don't wonder if some internal bracing in the right spots might .......

You might also consider giving Jim Salk of Salk Sound a try. Jim is one the custom speaker builders and he does a great job with some very nice designs. Very good drivers that are well voiced and comb .......

I don't think they even claim to have much impact on low frequency response so I do not think that is an issue. They do appear to be proper Helmholz Resonators though. I do think that Argent provides .......

Let me try some of your other areas of interest at the same time. I have owned the original Eros but with the gen-2 panels as well. That unit had a much less potent base amp than what comes with the M .......

My only caution is placement and room size. The 20.1s' need lots of room to breath. If you have it fine, if not you might want to consider an alternative. I use the innersound Eros speakers for my fro .......

I have not switched them as yet. You raise an interesting point though. If I had the Ultra-khan on my DAC which in reality is a Meridian 861 processor for now, it would have an inpact on a larger perc .......

I have had a simiar experience with The Ultra-khan II used on my transport and the mini-khan plus on my dac. I was shocked at the difference they made. Next step soon to be implimented is 2 Elrod stat .......
