mine are built from the plans in the link. you can modify the internal volume by adding material to the interior of the cabinet, and you'll need to cut a different 'sub panel' for the 414 vs the 15 in .......

Normally, the LS19 would be used with driver tubes from about 5k to 10k Rp, a plate load resistor about 3-4x Rp, and about a 0.5uF parallel feed capacitor. Think 6J5, 1/2 6SN7, 76, 6C5, paralleled 6N7 .......

I could probably solve the problem with a drill, but it would have to be drilling the driver to match the horn, not the other way around. The three hole mounting flange is only about 2 7/8 inch outsid .......

This adapter is of no use to me. Both my horns are H-808's, and thus have a 1" throat, that isn't the problem. I seriously doubt that anyone has ever manufactured an adapter like I need, which is why .......

Bass cabinets look like JBL rear loaded horns (don't remember the model number). Bass drivers look JBL too. HF horns are either Altec 511 or 811 (hard to tell scale). Crossovers are Altec. Probably wo .......

Original schematic from Sound Practices called for Solen Poly caps, but you could use whatever kind of cap you like, I suppose. Joe Roberts built one (a Micro 3.5) using Western Electric paper in oil .......

Looks like the HT only goes through the LF transformer. There's none in the HF transformer at all, from the schematic. Reference to PWK's original paper might answer some of the tech questions more cl .......

FWIW, I'm using a pair of Lowther Acousta's with PM6A's, and augment the bass with a single Klipschorn bass bin with a Stephens 103 LX2 woofer in it. Works great. Crossover/mixer is incorporated into .......

Lucky indeed! As bubba said, as long as they are working OK, and there are no strange noises, they should be fine. They should work with your amps, but you really have to try to know if they're synerg .......
