Looking at your picture the "stressed beam" assembly doesn't appear to make intimate contact with the plinth. Can you measure a gap with feeler gauge? Ken .......

I listen to mine with the control set to 9 o'clock and my ears positioned on the woofer center - 36" from floor. Listening position is ~ 7' equilateral triangle with the speakers towed in so that 1/2" .......

on an Axis with a Denon 301/II and really love the 301. Prior to the 301 I had a Grado RS Sonata which always suffered tracing distortion on the inner groves, consequently vinyl didn't get much play. .......

I'm using the same amp with an ARC 6B w/Tele's and Mul's and Quad 57's. You don't loose anything going single ended into this amp, believe me I had an Ayre K-1 prior to the 6B. .......

Hi Brian, I've been using an ARC VT50 on the 16 ohm tap with great results. For some reason the VT50 gets hammered on the second-hand market so you should be able to pick one cheap. e-m .......

Tonearm is a Grado wood unipivot with an ADC cartridge. Doesn't look to be anything special and will probably be replaced at some point in time. Thank you for the links. Ken .......

I use Bruce Moore Custom M50's (Class A, E34L) with mine and love it. While the C7's sound good at very low sound levels they, like many other ported designs, come alive when pushed a little. ::: TOP .......

The TT was set-up with the top pulley in alignment with the bottom belt groove (there are two belt groves on the platter). I adjusted the pulley so that the bottom pulley is in alignment with the bott .......

Looking to see if anyone has compared the updated driver/x-over version to the original? Any comments would be helpful as I'm considering having mine updated (no local dealers have the 2.3 on display! .......
