Bought the original Hydra with the wooden faceplate when it first came out. Sold it after a couple of years and bought the newer Hydra with the aluminum faceplate. It has worked perfectly. ::: TOPIC:: .......

That was a somewhat common problem on SCD-1s. There were cold solders on the display board. Do a search. There were some really detailed discussions back in the day. It's a pretty easy fix. ::: TOPIC: .......

I have the Shelter 501 MKII ON AN EMINENT TECHNOLOGY arm and I think it is a giant killer. In my opinion it is better than a Koetsu Black, Rosewood, Monster Alpha Genesis MKII, XYZ 50 or 100 and low e .......

I use CLOROX DISINFECTING WIPES. They are perfect for the job. I have never damaged a cover. Make sure to squeeze out excessive fluid before use. Best Wishes! .......
