You need 92 dB+ high-efficiency which requires subwoofers for that low bass you want. Those sub woofers, to play well at high levels w/o massive distortion (see your own post above ;-} )need Warp 9 am .......

True enough, both my iPhone 4S and iPad 2 were badly affected. However, within 2 weeks, they had a fix that cured the ills AND left both devices with the worthwhile parts of the upgrade the hardware .......

600 Ohms. Who knew? 37.5 was by far the best with the 103r in my current system. 150 attenuated the high frequencies along with the gain. The only time I tried 600 was with a Benz Ace low to a Cornet .......

That sounds like something to try. I take the TV sound from it's RCA outputs to a Cambridge integrated, which sounds pretty fair into 2 Pi Towers that are an honest -3dB at 35 Hz. . I have a nice Mod .......

Replacement motor is a Hurst and avalable on their website by the model number you will find on your unit. Last year, IIRC, it was about $100. There's also a thread here from 2003 that discusses tight .......

Too much, depends. My .24mV, 4 Ohm internal impedance ZYX R50 likes the 37.5 Ohm taps on the 3440AH best. My system (click on the "A") needs the gain. I call the 150 Ohm switch position the "Columbia" .......

The 10 Ohm internal impedance should be a good match, much like the DL-103r, especially on the 37 Ohm transformer taps. BTW, the AH version is well worth the extra 50 bucks. .......

If it's 25 Hz, 2.5 to 4.5 cu ft BRs with JBL 2226 or the like won't do it but if it's kick drum or Low "E" string in your chest (my definition) with a 2 Watt Parafeed DHT Amp it will. .......

I've used a passive with my Low Watt, High Efficiency system forever. Gone from TKD to PEC and back, then Goldpoint with Dales and finally for the last 6 years, this SMD from Valabs , $25 bucks. A lit .......
