I read the SP1/2r2 review as well, though I felt the author really liked them. Anyway, reviews are nice, hearing opinions from inmates who actually heard the speakers is even better ;) SP100R2 are a t .......

The current monoblocks were built for the stubborn Avanti 5, that really loooove power. Going to high sensitivity will require a change of amplification, SET does seem reasonable. It won't be easy for .......

Any suggestion as to how to brace the driver to the panel? The Phy baffle plan does contain a small seperate panel (40cmX40cm) made of "wood or bronze" that attaches to the main panel. thanks for the .......

The Phy baffle does look pretty simple to implement, althoug it is intimidating somewhat (size-wise). I guess the worst case if it does not come out well, I can send the drivers to one of the commerci .......

My friend used an open baffle before he sent the drivers out to Musical affairs for mounting on their boxes. Have you had any experiene playing classical music with them? -T .......

If it is too slow in the steady state, you might want to adjust the eddy break magnet. If it is too slow coming up to speed, there could be various reasons - could be that the motor needs a good clean .......

The pivot doesn't intersect with the track. The force vector is tangent to the groove and travels through the arm pivot - so it only drags the cart away from the pivot - not to the center of the recor .......

I have disassembled the bottm of the bearing. The gasket looks in good shape - the plastic thrust plate is somewhat dented. If I turn it over it will be a bit convex but will probably get flat with ti .......
