Never heard the Devore, but currently own the PMC FB1 + for the past 8 months. I have owned many, many more $$ speakers (Verity,Vienna,B&W,Von Schw.,Joseph audio,Revel,spendor)to name a few) and right .......

Try some MIT T series or newer AVT-excellent in the bass and mids and may help with the forwardness.. .......

Either the kids did it, or it was my loud listening session the other night. To my disbelief I looked at my right Heron i and noticed a rip/tear in the cone-I know they are made by Audax, and I checke .......
