I think I may have spoken too soon. The SA10 manual doesn't give the output for balanced line. You can't assume the output will double. I checked the manual for my SA11s3 and it doesn't give the balan .......

This seems like a very easy problem to solve. You're running balanced line which puts out 4.8 volts. Try using the single ended input which puts out 2.4 volts. That should give you 6 db less gain and .......

I replaced my 2M Black with the Quintet Black and after about 15 hours all I can say is that I'm very disappointed. The highs are rolled off and the midrange is flat. It's being used with a VPI Travel .......

Are you sure they are new V4 monos? They list for $6500 new. Used ones go from anywhere from $2500 to $3000. $1899 would be a very good price used. .......

The manual you are looking at is from Marantz USA. The OP is from the UK. If you go to Marantz UK there is no provision to download a manual. Is it possible that the USA version and the UK version are .......

I have the SA11s3 which has pin 2 neg. and pin 3 pos. If you go into the menu you can change the polarity. I also have the PM11s3 which has the same configuration so polarity is not an issue for me. C .......

You may want to consider the Marantz Reference integrated amps. They are a little on the warmish side. I have the PM11S3 and I'm using it with an Ortofon 2M Black MM cartridge. It's a very nice soundi .......

I think you are confusing FERS with the Thrift Savings Plan. FERS replaced Civil Service in 1984. It is a defined benefit plan. The employee contributes so much from every paycheck and when he retires .......

I have a pair of Tekton Lores that are being driven by a Scott LK72-b (25wpc) and I think it's a match made in heaven. I think the Lores would mate very well with your Sherwood. .......

I was tracking at 1.9 grams and increased it to 2 and there was no change. I don't think the stylus is worn. If anything it may be the suspension. .......
