the SR-45 modification on my Paramours, I used the schematic exclusively. The amps fired right up, so I know the schematic is correct. If you feel confident enough to use only the schematic, I'd sugge .......

you could use the S.E.X. amp as a preamp simply by replacing the loudspeaker binding posts with some RCA jacks, and wiring the outputs to those jacks. Is there more to it than that? Mike .......

I tried the Gauss woofers in John Lapaire's Karlson enclosures. While the K's did pump up the efficiency of the bottom end, I didn't really care for the overall effect on the sound compared to the sim .......

You will also need a spacer roughly 1" tall between the Rega base and the Empire plinth....however, the VPI VTA adjuster may necessitate a shorter spacer, YMMV. Good luck! Mike .......

into my MP-3, with excellent results! They are a 1:10 step-up, and will accomodate a wide variety of cartridges. Even with low output MC's there is plenty of gain, and tube rush is not an issue any mo .......
