FWIW, your results are at least as good as I have had on quite a few cartridges. My new Dynavector XX-2 was the only one with exactly the same reading for left and right channels. This was on an SME I .......

I agree with the other comments, it is missing the arm and slider weight but if it sounds good w/o any a/s then there's no problem. I had that arm on a Luxman PD-441 and it sounded fantastic. ::: TOPI .......

That was my experience exactly. I paid $54 (Ontario HST) on the $350 retip service and my assumption was that the tax was applied to a "service" and not a "good" that I already owned. This is similar .......

I had the X250.5 with my modded Maggie 1.5qrs and it sounded great. Never moved the needle at all so I tried the XA30.5 and it had all of the attributes mentioned by the others - more refined texture .......

Most times cueing up an album is okay using the supplied finger lift but occasionally I tighten up and there's a bit of shake lowering the arm. It's probably due to incipient aging, nothing to worry a .......

I did that at both ends, the bare wire is a good fit in the Maggie binding post. Just be sure to get all the lacquer off with 800 or so grit paper. Nice and shiny copper. For resale just put a pair of .......

I did that with the 901 and it did seem to give a bit better focus to center stage vocals. I use Maggies so it is pretty easy to get great big Cinemascope vocals if you aren't careful with VTA, etc. T .......

Certainly in the same league as the two box ARCs but you change impedence by switching out plugs on the back rather than from a rotary switch on the front. No plugs defaults to 47Kohm for MM. Handles .......

The strange one on eight LPs. This one was pressed in Colombia and has very good sonics. The mixes are all very slightly different from the ones you are used to, kind of like The Beatles covering Beat .......

I have that cartridge on a plain ol' Scout (bit of overkill, I know) but it seems a very good match for the JMW9 arm. I had a Dynavector XX-1 before this and the Shelter is as good or better. ::: TOPI .......
