Thanks for the responses. The only item running on the PC is foobar. CPU utilization is 1.5% I played with the buffer length and could make the situation worse not better. Initially I was running SPD .......

I am running foobar2000 on a Windows XP PC. I have a Juli@ sound card that I have pulled the I2S signals over to a TDA1541A DAC. I occasionally get pops, clicks, or noise during playback. Any solution .......

Great link! An A10 would be incredible! Stay away from the horn loaded boxes unless you plan on putting the speakers behind a metal movie screen or use a lot of EQ to deal with the midrange peeks. ::: .......

Having a drop in replacement for a DAC chip is strange. I wonder if the silicon manufacturer is the same and the Wolfson DAC is just tested to a higher spec than the TI part. Either way, I got my firs .......
