All tube filaments in a Dynaco ST-70 (including the VTA version) use 6.3 VAC, other than the 5AR4 rectifier. So the 6.3 V adapter is the one you want, even if you were adapting all three driver tubes. .......

If I were considering FRED's, I'd more likely be looking at Cree (now Wolfspeed) Schottky diodes. They're 2 amp, 1200 PIV, and only $2.99 from Mouser (link below). They're available at higher amperage .......

I tried that, along with 12BH7s in all three sockets. It was largely a lateral move, sound wise. The single 6SN7, on the other hand, was the cure for what ailed my VTA ST-70 for all those years. Maybe .......

I use the Magic Eraser to clean my stylus, but always carefully brush afterward to remove any stray ME fibers. The MoonGel would be a good alternative to the brushing. SoundSmith cartridge retippers .......
