Hmmm. It is more a curisity for the Museum or a collector. Sonically it ain't that hot, then again, I'd supect it'll wlak over the average Rega Planar quite easily.

Make sure that only people who have REAL experience with linear tracking tables and their electronics get their fingers on this one. I'm not aware of anyone in the UK, not to say there is no-one. Having anyone without substantial experience with that kind of thing mess about with it will basically render the unit unusable in most cases, it's just too complex to adjust and repair. The same also goes for other linear tracking Tables with electronically controlled arms. Fixing these is on my list of major, red hot glowing 211 "up yours" pain in the Bum....

I'd not touch it myself unless it was it my own unit (and even then I'd think trice), not for money, good words, a night with Tracy Bingham or rare valves (okay, a pair of pre 1988 WE 300B's and a few pairs of Meshanode, Globe 45's might convince me otherwise) even with a full service manual, which alone will be a major job to track down....

So basically pray it never goes wrong.

Mechanical and electronical. If it really needs any serious work done it may be very well an item to donate to a museum. Revox is still active in the UK, I'd guess they are the first port of call. While very helpfull they cannot offer much for older products thouh.
