Don't listen to Troy

I was spinning this disk repeatedly several weeks ago (and that's unusual for me). It's got a nice distribution of quieter passages with almost emo full-on barrages, and lots of psychedelic freak-outs in between. Definite LOTW material.

Now, that said, I would have never recommended it to my good friend Troy, as I don't think he has the patience for the slower parts (he's more of a power popper), though I think he would benefit from an edited version of the album. And I still haven't figured out his taste in singers -- you like Grandaddy, don't you Troy? I like this guy's voice better than the guy in Grandaddy.

Oh, well, there are some people I'm destined never to figure out.
