This is on Satanic Majesties Request, cut 5, the long "psychedelic" version of Why Don't We Sing This Song All Together. Between about 1:00 and 1:45 there are bells toward the right. Over Mick's vocal at about the 7:30 mark are more bells. These very clearly sound more ringing and bell-like on the SACD layer. The CD layer's bells sound muffled in comparison. This is not subtle or hard to hear.
I picked these points because the bells are foreground and easy to hear. But in fact, throughout this cut, there are often bell sounds in the background- some of these are barely audible on the CD but quite clear on the SACD.
In general, this cut sounds sharper and more well defined on the SACD. But these are rather subtle effects.
In addition, the beginning piano on She's A Rainbow, cut 6, sounds a bit more muffled on the CD layer. But again, this is more subtle than the bells- the piano sounds good on CD, just a bit better on SACD.
If you get a chance, try these exact locations and listen for the bells- I would be surprised if you don't hear what I am talking about.
