Do you build DHT amps? I think you got your amp facts backwards. And the notion that value is somehow relative to power output [not to mention measurements] is rediculous.Not to mention the fact that some amps are hand built from the floor up. Not mass produced, not built on Hammond boxes,and require many hours of skilled craft to design and produce. And this is in addition to the expensive iron and tubes, etc. they use.
It is pretty easy to spend $5K on parts for a really good DHT amp, which might produce 10wpc. Not counting the chassis or the tubes.
