How many of you have noticed that a CD player's sound will be different depending on how the tracks are selected?1. Track selection by pressing the numerical buttons on the CD player's remote control.
2. Track selection by pressing skip forward or skip backward
Before you dismiss this as a delusion by a lunatic, please try the experiment on your CD player. Some inmates whom I meet regularly have tried it and they have heard a difference. Like to hear from those who will as well.
Finally, if anyone can remember reading an article on this subject in an English Hifi mag years ago, appreciate if you can pass along the technical explanation that was given.
Thanks in advance
