First, I got the OC9's stated static compliance wrong - it's 35cu, not 40cu.

I just recorded the resonance track on HFNRR and measured the wave period at resonance (ignoring Len's inaccurate frequency announcements). The resonance quite clearly peaks at around 6.2hz. Assuming a 12g mass for the tonearm+headshell and 8g for the cartridge, this is equivalent to a compliance of about 33cu - which is *far* closer to the static compliance than the dynamic compliance.
