Dear Horace,

A couple of suggestions,

1.) Get the OL-250 arm, that is a great improvement on the flimsy Profile arm the IIx used to be equipped with.

2.) Change the bearing and then the hub and platter to the new acrylic type, you will need to change the pulley to accommodate the round belt as well.

3.) Don't go for the DC motor upgrade, instead buy an additional motor and install that on the opposite side of the other motor as we do on the TT Two, a good sharp sawblade and a new motor with mounting bracket will accomplish that fairly easily

4.) Buy a really good MC cartridge, the IIx will now give superlative performance, enough to valid that investment.
