I’m glad you’re having a good experience with your new OC9ML/II. It is definitely worth $300 and a lot more. I replaced a $4000 Dynavector DRT XV-1 with my new OC9ML/II.Back in 1995 I bought the original OC9 to replace a $1000 Ortofon MC-2000. I paid $225 through Lyle Cartridges because I couldn’t afford another expensive cartridge. When I listened to my new OC9, I thought it was exceptional. It was not quite as good as my MC-2000, but it was very close. IMO, the OC9 is at least a $750 cartridge.
Best regards,
John Elison
