Good post, right on.
As an example of what you say: I measured the Advent impedance curve, and found the minimum impedance on the low end was 5 ohms at 100 Hz. That's an area with a lot of energy. So double Advents run 2.5 ohms at 100 Hz. That takes some serious low impedance capability.
