I trim most of my CDs with the Audiodesk Systeme, and the performance gain is not subtle. I also apply a green permanent marker to the edges, which also helps. I thought that the marker effectively "resealed" the disc (Audiodesk claims it does), but another inmate says no. My question is, does trimming the edges make the CD more susceptible to oxidation and degradation? I would hate to give up this tweak, because it really work wonders, but if it's going to reduce the longevity of my discs, I'll stop using it. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!
