Yeah, I don't think it's much of an issue with their high ratings

But people should be aware that there is possibly an issue if using them on the line. I actually love the sound of the WIMA MP3-X2 caps so use them freely in this app and anyplace I need a relatively small (0.1uF) cap. In that size (15mm) they become a solid block of epoxy when the paper is vacuum impregnated. Copper leads and segmented electrodes. Sound better than just about any wound cap I've tried, or I should say that they sound more "neutral" in a comparison with a straight wire bypass. All caps have a certain amount of coloration, and there are fans for just about any type of coloration. My poison is the WIMA MP3-X2, or for very small caps (100pf) I like the sound of a 100V bipolar TVS (ie glass passivated junction), or 15V for about 850pf. But a TVS isn't a linear capacitor so doesn't work everywhere :)

But yeah, definitely try some good caps of about 5 to 10 uF on the transformer secondary if you haven't already. Much more effective as a filter, and if you tune the size while looking at the secondary waveform you can get the loading more uniform on the transformer to minimize AC distortion. Very effective tweak, much more (IMO) than the primary, but then again I've never used Auricaps (yet). But like you say, not directly applicable to switching type supplies.
