Hi Allan,
Install a choke of about 2.2mH between the first bank of capacitors and the second bank of the + supply. Do the same for the negative supply. See also Audio Electronics,1997#2, Son of Zen for a schematic. Use a choke with a low DC-resistance and a lot of current capacity. For example as used in loudspeaker crossovers. Ideally the first and second bank should have the same capacity.(mufarads)
Not only will the ripple voltage be reduced greatly, but it SOUNDS a LOT better. Any line noise will also be blocked off effectively.
