I just got a pair of these for my 12AX7 tubes and they do just what another poster said: improve focus and transparency, also bass articulation.
Having said that, I can't figure why they are so expensive (~ $36/pr). Are there any other cheap alternatives you can recommend, including DIY that have similar effect?
I still have six tubes to "ring".
