Early E88CC - Silver support NOT used from top to bottom mica. Single dimpled getter ring support. This is the tube of interest: I have done it 12 hours today. I compared my Siemens E88CC because of your question. I measured all with my Neuberger tube tester. The shocking result: only the oldest type is really good. These ones are the famous Siemens. The newer stuf from the late 60ties and 70ties is worser than a humble Sovtek. I checked the tubes in different positions (driver, input phono. Now I am happy to understand the Siemens hype.
